			<description><![CDATA[Mac are a Unix based operating system-I believe that the basis is BSD linux. The vast majority of operating systems will now offer a graphical user interface, though command line is useful for certain work. My experience of working with X Windows was rather negative, it was sluggish and ran badly through the university terminal workstation system. It might have just been because of the age though.]]></description>
