Do you think this is the year for desktop virtualization to explode? With the economy the way it is and businesses struggling to stay alive, I would think they will be doing everything they can to cut costs. Desktop virtualization may be a legitimate option for some.
No I really don't. With this technology comes a huge price tag for all the thin client equipment, server side software and so on. Beyond the initial costs, yes things get cheaper but unless you are already planning on replacing your whole network it wouldn't be a good thing.
