Topic: Is there an Open Source product like ThinApp?

I see there are plenty of open source options for Virtual VMs I wondered if there was a ThinApp type opensource product to play with?

You're looking for something to virtualise your applications? Isn't that what VirtualBox is for, and I believe that is a GPL product so does that meet your needs?

As far as I can tell VirtualBox is a Virtual Machine not a Virtual Application. Have I misunderstood?

You're right Keefie, VirtualBox is a virtual machine application like VMware Workstation. It is a very good piece of software (and Open source) but doesn't do application virtualization like Thinapp. I'm quite surprised there isn't an open source (to my knowledge...)  application virtualization app though..
