If I buy a Dell Server for my company, should I also buy Dell thin clients? Or can I use any type of client with it?

That depends on your requirements. But you can run Thin Clients from any supplier once you have establlished what set up you need. It would be advisable to keep your kit as much as possible the same if your able if for no other reason, the more you buy from one supplier the better deal you should be able to get.

Dell do offer volume business to its customers if you have a Dell rep you can ask them for volume discounts and they will offer you a price. I have not done this with Dell but I have been told thats how they do it.

That is how they do it but if your in need of a box quickly you will still have to go via the web. Even then you may find the offered delivery time is not always reliable.
