Topic: Trying out Compiz Fusion
Has anyone tried the Compiz Fusion OpenSource product in Linux? I am about to try it out in Linux and wanted to know if its going to work with VirtualBox?

I havn't actually tried this but I know people who have. It does work and you should be able to run Windows in a VirtualBox window on your Compiz Fusion cube. I know someone who runds this on an old box with no real problems.

So it is pretty light on the required resources I would have to assume? Since it can run with so much else that would be obviously pretty resource intensive by comparison, to run on an old box it can't be bad itself right?

Won't Compiz Fusion require 3d Graphics to run? If your graphics are up to spec its just a viewer for your VM's not really much to worry your resources I wouldn't think.
