Topic: High performance HP thin clients?
Why can't they make thin clients with the same hardware specs as the latest computers? I'd actually want one like that, if it moved like a charm.

The real reason for this technology is to be able to reduce the cost of all that hardware in large user environments. Some of which is not used by most users anyway.

Well yes, I can understand that. But think about having a huge LAN conference / party organized with thin clients connected to two or three mega servers. Things would be so much easier then. Or think about households using good thin clients and just one single server.
